Andrew began his career as a Consultant at Arthur Andersen, focused on M&A transaction services for financial sponsor clients. He then joined IHS Markit, leading acquisition and divestiture projects as a Senior Manager in the Corporate Development group. Andrew went on to work for over 13 years in investment banking in roles of increasing responsibility at J.P. Morgan Securities and later Citigroup Global Markets, focused on M&A advisory and capital raising in the Automotive/Industrial sectors. More recently, he served as Vice President of Corporate Development Americas for Amcor Plc, a diversified global packaging manufacturer. Andrew is currently leads the M&A group at Lear Corporation, a global Tier 1 automotive supplier, as Vice President of Corporate Development. He is married and lives with his wife Katy and two children in Bloomfield Hills, MI. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BBA in Accounting and from the University of Notre Dame and holds an M.B.A. in Finance & Strategy from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
Beth met Jason at business school at the University of Michigan. Prior to getting her MBA at Michigan, Beth received her BBA from the University of Washington Business School and proceed to work in client finance for the global agency, Digitas, managing Fortune 500 and sports properties. Both during and after business school, Beth continued to work in sports marketing on the brand, agency and property sides, including: professional soccer, professional tennis, sailing, among others. Following this experience, she guided USA Track & Field on brand strategy, and the US Army on their sponsorship strategy for Momentum Worldwide, part of the McCann World Group. After working at the University of Michigan Athletic Department, launching their Jordan partnership and negotiating their multimedia rights deals, she launched her own business, BMP Consulting Solutions, where she focuses her time on sports partnerships. Beth currently resides in Chelsea, Michigan with her husband, Andrew, and two children.
John met Jason while both were doing West Point Admissions work in the Chicago area. John graduated from West Point in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Following graduation from West Point, John was commissioned in the Field Artillery and earned both Airborne and Ranger qualifications. John served as an Army Officer for 28 years, retiring from the military in 2002 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. John has an MBA with concentrations in finance, economics, and marketing from the University of Chicago Graduate Business School. After earning his MBA, John worked for 9 years in the real estate industry as a commercial property management executive. For the past 20+ years, John has provided comprehensive financial planning advice to his clients. He is a Certified Financial Planner practitioner and is the owners of a financial planning practice in Barrington, IL. John resides with his family in Deer Park, IL.
Scott Cockerham is a restructuring professional with predominant experience in the energy, mining, metals, and maritime sectors. He’s worked for a number of financial institutions including Parkman Whaling, Goldman Sachs, and Deutsche Bank. Scott began his career as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, where he served in a variety of operational, leadership, and tactical roles as an AH-1W Super Cobra aviator. Scott finished his active duty career as the Marine Officer Instructor at the University of Michigan, where he met Jason George. Scott earned a BS with Honors at the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He resides with his family in Houston, Texas.
Ted is a Distinguished Honor Graduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1994 with a B.S.E. in Quantitative Economics and a concentration in System Engineering. Following graduation he served for three years as a Lieutenant in the United States Army, earning both Airborne and Ranger qualifications. Ted has worked in private equity, merchant banking, and investment banking for such firms as Salomon Smith Barney, UBS Warburg, Thomas Weisel Partners, and for a joint venture with Goldman Sachs. Ted now works in private equity and bankruptcy restructuring for a boutique firm in New York City. Ted served for 14 years as the President of his West Point alumni class. He resides in Chatham, New Jersey.
